Business: Mainstream
Situation:
Mainstream is a prominent construction and general contractor that is located in Central Florida. ESQ has provided technology solutions of hardware, software and consulting support to Mainstream for 10 years.
Problem:
The first step was to work with Mainstream to analyze and leverage their existing technology systems and platform. By reviewing the enterprise and the supporting infrastructure a full picture of incompatibility and misconfiguration issues were identified.
Solution:
From this IT Survey, strengths and weaknesses of existing systems were identified which led to specific recommendations:
- Install robust router
- Upgrade O/S
- Upgrade Server/Hardware
- Install Network Management system
Results:
The technology tune-up and upgrades created a significantly faster network and tremendous productivity gains were achieved. This set of recommendations was applied to all PC’s via the network, which helped redefine and greatly enhance the computer workplace. It also provided Mainstream management with a more productive and therefore more profitable workforce. |
